Reassured patients, a relieved front desk
Your patients find a precise answer before booking, then book without friction, and your front desk is relieved. Communication follows the rules of the medical field (no promises, no comparisons), and patient data is collected with care: only what is needed.
What I put in place for a practice
Four Geneva healthcare organisations run on the same base: a medical centre, an aesthetic medicine clinic, a hair clinic, a urology practice. For patient data:
- Hosted in Switzerland. The four healthcare sites in production are hosted at Infomaniak, in Switzerland.
- No automatic e-mail to the patient. After a request, the confirmation is shown on screen; no acknowledgement is sent to the patient’s inbox.
- A form that asks for the minimum. Name, contact channel, general reason. A medical question is only added at the practice’s request, after discussing it with you.
- Rights per person. The front desk updates hours, doctors and services, with a preview before publishing; access to patient requests is granted separately, form by form.
- The practice’s secure e-mail. Requests can be sent through the practice’s secure e-mail, HIN or AMGe: sending goes through its own mailbox, with access details the practice enters itself.
A structure designed for the patient
The patient arrives with a question: who to see for what, how to book, how much it costs, where it is. Each page answers one of those questions. The front desk gets fewer information calls.
Booking, embedded
OneDoc embedded in the pages when the organisation uses it, otherwise a short form wired to the front desk. The phone number stays visible everywhere.
Compliant, useful content
Services, procedure, aftercare, prices when published: factual content, reviewed by the practitioners, with no promise of results. A marked-up FAQ per page for search and answer engines. A health blog if the clinic wants to build visibility on contested topics.
Fast, accessible, easy for Google to read
Static pages, optimised images, schema.org markup (MedicalBusiness: address, opening hours). Every site is built to be fast, accessible and easy for Google and AI assistants to read: I aim for 100 on Lighthouse, on mobile and desktop. Teams edit hours, doctors and services online.
Clinics and independent practitioners alike
The base is the same for a multidisciplinary centre and for a two-practitioner practice; the scope changes. A practice needs an accurate presentation and simple booking; a clinic needs a page per treatment and, often, ongoing editorial content.
Frequently asked questions
Who builds websites for medical practices in Geneva?
Lumineth, in Geneva, as an independent: I design the site with the practice, put it online and run it. Four Geneva healthcare organisations are in production: a multidisciplinary medical centre, an aesthetic medicine clinic, a hair clinic and a urology practice.
Two cases are described in detail: the medical centre and the urology practice.
Do you offer online booking?
Yes. OneDoc embedded in the site, or a secure request form wired to the front desk, depending on how the practice or clinic works.
Does the site comply with medical communication rules?
The content is limited to presenting services, the team and practical details, with no promises or comparisons. It is reviewed by the practitioners before publishing.
I am a doctor in Geneva: how does the site protect my patients’ data?
By default the form only asks for what is needed: name, contact channel, general reason. The patient receives no automatic e-mail after the request; the confirmation is shown on screen. The four healthcare sites in production are hosted in Switzerland, at Infomaniak.
Requests can be sent through the practice’s secure e-mail, HIN or AMGe: sending goes through its own mailbox, with access details the practice enters itself. Access to requests is granted person by person: whoever updates the site does not necessarily see them.
Do you work with clinics as well as independent doctors?
Yes: a medical centre, two clinics and a two-practitioner practice are in production on the same base.
Will the site be fast and rank well?
Every site is built to be fast, accessible and easy for Google and AI assistants to read: I aim for 100 on Lighthouse, on mobile and desktop. Static pages, optimised images, schema.org markup (address, opening hours) and FAQs that Google and AI assistants can read. I promise no ranking on Google: I put in place what lets you be found there. One example: the medical centre.
Do you also build websites for physiotherapists and osteopaths in Geneva?
Yes. A physiotherapy or osteopathy practice website follows the same rules as a medical site: a minimal form, no automatic e-mail to the patient, content with no promise of results.
I have worked as a consultant in these fields and know their constraints. What I put in place for them is on the physiotherapist and osteopath website in Geneva page.
