Wine bar & wine merchant, Beaune (France)

Wine bar & merchant

Wine bar & wine merchant in Beaune: a showcase site, a project run entirely remotely.

Context

This venue is a wine bar and wine merchant in the heart of Beaune (Burgundy), combining a cellar space and a wine bar with a tapas menu and wine-themed events. An out-of-canton client that shows Lumineth also supports projects remotely.

Challenge

Showcase the venue, the wine selection and the experience, and make discovery easier (hours, contact, events, private hire).

What I put in place

  1. Polished showcase site (cellar + wine bar + team + events).

  2. Presentation of the menu, the hours and the contact details of both spaces.

  3. Remote support (client in France), proof of the remote working model.

A project run remotely

The client is in Beaune, Burgundy; I am in Geneva. The project was done over video calls and written exchanges: framing, content choices, reviews. The method is the same as in person; only the travel is missing.

Two spaces, one place

The wine shop and the wine bar each have their hours, their menu and their use. The site presents them as one place with two entrances, plus the team, the events (tastings, private hire) and the contact details.

A showcase site that stays current

Multi-site platform, static pages. Performance 100/100 on mobile, technical SEO 100/100. The manager updates the menu, hours and events online, with a preview before publishing.

Frequently asked questions

Can a site be built without meeting?

Yes. This project was framed, built and delivered remotely, over video and in writing. What matters is the rhythm of exchanges and reviews, not physical presence.

How do you present a place with two activities?

As one place, with one entrance per activity: shop (sales, selection) and wine bar (menu, tapas, events). Hours and contact details are distinct and visible on every page.

Can the manager edit the menu and events?

Yes, online, with a preview before publishing. Past events are archived automatically.

What are the measured results?
