A busy Geneva tennis club: a tennis school, competitions and interclub matches, a gym and a restaurant open to members and the public alike. All of this had to fit into a clear, bilingual site that stays easy to keep alive day to day, without turning every update into a chore.
The challenge: bring very different worlds together, club life, tennis school, restaurant, fitness, into readable navigation, in French and English, and cut recurring maintenance. The restaurant menu in particular changed every week and had to stay current with no manual work.
What I put in place
- A multi-page club website, bilingual (FR/EN): club presentation, tennis school, competitions, gym and restaurant.
- A of the club restaurant page whose weekly menu is updated automatically by AI (AI vision), with no manual re-entry.
- Simple, direct sign-up forms for the tennis school and camps.
- Clear navigation linking varied worlds (sport, dining, fitness) without losing the visitor.
- Fast technical foundations and a local SEO/GEO base for Geneva.
Four worlds, one navigation
Club, tennis school, restaurant, gym: the site had to connect different audiences without losing them. I worked with the committee and the head of each area to set a four-entry navigation, in French and in English.
A restaurant menu updated by AI
The weekly menu changed every week and had to be retyped by hand. Today the restaurant drops its menu; an AI vision chain extracts it, structures it and prepares the page, published after review. No more retyping, an up-to-date menu every week.
Forms and an SEO base
Registrations for the tennis school, camps and tournaments through simple forms linked to the office. Multi-site platform, static pages. Every site is built to be fast, accessible and easy for Google and AI assistants to read: I aim for 100 on Lighthouse, on mobile and desktop.
What the site brings
- The restaurant menu updated every week by an AI chain, reviewed before publishing.
- Registrations for the tennis school, camps and tournaments through forms, received by the office.
- A fast, accessible site that Google and AI assistants read easily: I aim for 100 on Lighthouse, on mobile and desktop.
A concrete time saving for the club, week after week.
Frequently asked questions
How is the restaurant menu updated automatically?
The restaurant drops its menu (photo or file). An AI vision chain reads the document, extracts dishes and prices, and prepares the page. A manager reviews and publishes. Manual entry is gone.
Is the site bilingual?
Yes, French and English, with content specific to each language and hreflang tags for search engines.
Do registrations go through the site?
Yes: tennis school, camps and tournaments have their forms, received by the office by e-mail, with a confirmation sent to the registrant.
Will the site be fast and rank well?
Every site is built to be fast, accessible and easy for Google and AI assistants to read: I aim for 100 on Lighthouse, on mobile and desktop. Static pages, optimised images, schema.org markup and FAQs that Google and AI assistants can read. I promise no ranking on Google: I put in place what lets you be found there.
